everyday goods ("we," "us," "our") operates shopeverydaygoods.com (the "site"). this policy explains what information we collect when you visit or buy from us, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. we've tried to write it in plain language — if anything is unclear, email us and we'll explain.

what we collect

we keep this short on purpose, because we collect very little:

• email address — if you join one of our waitlists (the sold-out drop waitlist or the early-2027 launch list) on the product page, we collect the email you give us.
• order information — if you buy 01 / coffee, checkout happens on Shopify, not on this site. Shopify collects your name, email, shipping address, and payment details directly to process your order. We receive your order details from Shopify; we never see or store your full payment card number.
• basic site traffic — anonymized, aggregate analytics (page views, rough location by country, referring sites) through Cloudflare Web Analytics. This doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you individually.
• standard server logs — our host, Netlify, automatically logs things like IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and reliability. We don't use this to track individuals.

cookies

we don't use cookies, and we don't use any cross-site advertising or retargeting trackers on this site. the only exception is Shopify's own checkout pages, which use cookies to run your cart and complete your purchase — that's covered by Shopify's privacy policy, not this one, once you leave shopeverydaygoods.com to check out.

how we use your information

• to fulfill and ship orders you place
• to email you if you've joined a waitlist, once what you signed up for is ready
• to understand, in aggregate, how people find and use the site, so we can improve it
• to prevent spam and abuse on our signup forms (our forms use a hidden spam-trap field; it doesn't collect anything about real visitors)

we don't sell your personal information, and we don't share your email with anyone outside of running this business.

who we share information with

we use a small number of service providers to run this site and business, each of which only sees what it needs to do its job:

• Shopify — payment processing and order fulfillment
• Netlify — website hosting and storage of waitlist form submissions
• Cloudflare — anonymized traffic analytics

each of these companies has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf.

how long we keep it

waitlist email addresses are kept until the drop or launch they relate to has happened and we've reached out, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first. order records are kept as long as Shopify and ordinary business/tax recordkeeping requires.

your choices

you can ask us at any time to:

• tell you what information we have about you
• correct information that's wrong
• delete your email from our waitlists

just email us at the address below and we'll take care of it.

children

this site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

changes to this policy

if this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. we'll never make a change that reduces your rights over information we already hold without telling you.
